How is waterproof jewellery made?

The collection is protected with a long-lasting gold PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating. The coating is applied as a vacuum spray, depositing a thin layer of gold onto the surface of the jewellery to give it a durable high-shine finish. The tough coating helps the styles withstand more wear and tear during everyday activities, making them exceptionally resistant to tarnishing or fading.

How should I clean waterproof jewellery?

To clean stainless steel jewellery, gently buff with a lint-free cloth. If you wear your jewellery in water, dry your jewellery thoroughly before re-wearing, as this will help prolong the durability of the PVD coating and tarnish-resistant quality.

While the PVD coating makes your jewellery pieces more durable when worn during everyday activities, and less likely to be subject to damage when wet, removing your jewellery for swimming and showering is the best way to ensure they last well.
