Love this. The lid is quite heavy but sturdy and fits whole large pat of butter under it (my old butter dish used to only hold half a pat of butter).

It's a butter dish, it holds butter. What more do you want. Olivier Bonas have sent me 100 emails asking to review it. I have reviewed it before and they keep on asking so I will again. It is a butter dish ! Oliver Bonas is so boring and keeps asking for reviews even once you have reviewed something. Frankly I'm drunk and could do without Oliver Bonas asking for reviews over and over. Yawn. Good butter dish though
