Made from contemporary rattan, this curved lampshade has a natural palette, perfect to be paired with urban, rustic or modern home decor.

Light bulb isn't included - we recommend pairing this lamp with the Tala Elva LED Light Bulb to cast your room in a warm glow.

The lampshade was the exact style I was looking for to finish off a room, and it was delivered promptly as expected. However the item arrived quite misshapen and looks untidy on one side. If I’d paid full price, I would have returned as it doesn’t look good enough for the price, but given I used a gift card, I’ve managed to angle it so you don’t see the misshapen side and saved myself the effort of returning.

I had been waiting for this to come back in stock for months so when it finally arrived, I was very excited. Unfortunately I didn’t love the shade as much as I had hoped. Found it challenging to find a lampshade that could fit onto the existing fixture and that still looked like something expensive / custom in the space. Lamp is well made and as described. Casts a gorgeous shadow across the ceiling. I bought these based on the reviews left by others. A bit disappointed to find that there are huge gaps between some of the rattan strips, so some were only a few mm apart, some were a good 1-2 inches, and although yes, it projects a nice pattern on the ceiling, it also projects them on every wall and creates a very uneasy atmosphere in the living room. Would not recommend them for a space that is used frequently or heavily relies on the lights.

Overall, this looks good in my living room and leaves nice shading on the wall but I don’t think the quality is very good and one side is definitely higher than the other. We played around with the lampshade for ages to make it appear straight from all angles but had to give up! You probably wouldn’t notice unless you knew it was wonky but still, I’d expect less imperfections for the price.

Lamp Shade FAQs

All of our lampshades come with conversion rings so they can fit B22 and E27 bulbs.

1. Measure the lamp - If you have a circular base then measure straight across. If you have a square base then measure diagonally. Multiple this number by two for the right shade width.

2. Measure the length - Your shade should be around a third of the total height of the lamp. This way it covers the bulb and the harp without looking disproportionate to the base.

There are also some safety precautions to take into account when choosing the size of your shade, so make sure you always read any safety labels or leaflets included with your lamp shade.

1. Turn the light switch off and allow your bulb to cool.

2. Assess how your shade is attached to the lamp.

3. If your shade is connected by the light bulb, unscrew the bulb, remove the lamp shade, replace with your new lamp shade and re-screw the bulb back into place.

4. If your shade is connected by a tip or finial screwed on top, unscrew the tip, lift the shade off to remove it, replace with your new shade, and re-screw the tip.

5. Turn the light switch on to see how it looks.
