Description

Inspired by traditional furniture shapes and the pattern of vintage woven fabric, the Tinta collection is an elegant combination of texture and tone, with each piece expertly made by hand. Soft curved edges and fluted details have been created by exploring new technologies, while mango wood gives our chest of drawers a warm finish. Each gold handle has been hand-hammered to give a distinctive texture, and the fabric drawers have been screen printed with a Ikat-inspired OB print and applied to each drawer frame by hand. Indian cane adds another material to the mix, while the taller profile combines storage and dressing table into a space-saving solution.

Absolutely love these drawers! They look really cute and the quality is amazing. They’re quite spacious so easy to fit a lot in. They were delivered ready made we just had to put the legs on which was simple so very convenient.

The collection

An elegant combination of texture and tone, our Tinta furniture collection brings together warm mango wood and Indian cane with printed cotton panelling for a design-led finish. Tinta exudes a hint of nostalgia, inspired by traditional furniture shapes and using vintage fabric techniques. Each piece is expertly made by hand, and the range includes a dressing table and desk, bedside table, wardrobe, shoe cabinet, chest of drawers and tallboy chest of drawers.

The details

Considered finishing touches include tapered legs, smoothly carved curves on the surface tops and tactile ridged edging, giving a juxtaposition of textures that are pleasing both to the eye and touch. Simple wooden pull handles sit alongside hand-hammered gold-finish drawer knobs. Inspiration for the printed panels came from vintage woven ikat fabric, whereas the newest Tinta collection has a traditional white, green and pink stripe design. ‘Pattern is a huge part of our identity,’ says Head of Home & Gift Design Kate Butler, ‘and it’s often how we add excitement to our products.’

Most of our furniture will be delivered fully or partially assembled to keep things nice and simple. If any assembly is required, this will be detailed on the product page alongside specific assembly and care information.

All our furniture has the weight, dimensions and boxed dimensions on the product page. When measuring your space, use the boxed dimensions to determine whether it will fit through the doors during delivery. Your order will be taken to your room of your choice, as far as the second floor. Heavier furniture will only be delivered to the ground floor, so please check the product page before purchasing.
